Thanks to generous support from Edgerton Hospital and Health Services, we are so excited to announce our EHS student of the month for the month of May!
This month please congratulate Grace Lamson who was nominated by Mrs. Allison. Grace was nominated for having strong character, showing leadership, positive behavior, good attendance, and having a positive attitude towards others/learning.
Mrs. Allison had this to say about Grace: Grace stands out for her consistently positive presence, dependable work ethic, and encouragement both inside and outside the classroom. Grace always enters class with a smile setting the tone for the learning environment. In the classroom she works hard and stays on task. She actively encourages her classmates to meet their responsibilities. When peers become distracted or off-task, Grace redirects them with a smile and decisive suggestions for getting back to work. Her approach reduces tension, increases focus among her peers, and helps the whole class progress. Beyond academics, Grace models school spirit. She participates on the cheer team, where she spurs on students and fans to positively support their team with enthusiasm and respect. In my experience, Grace embodies the character and values that define what it means to be a Tider.
Thanks for being a great example of a dedicated student, Grace! And congratulations on being our EHS student of the month!
