On Wednesday April 10th, 4th grade students from the Edgerton School District were invited to attend the bi-annual Kids in the Kitchen program run by your district's food service provider Taher, Inc. Food service director Pete Hamilton and district chef Tyson Repp conducted a pizza making class for 12 eager students. They were treated with a tour of the high school kitchen and the procedure on how to make a pizza from scratch. All 12 students made their own personal pan pizzas and were able to take them home to share with their families. A fun, entertaining and educational afternoon was had by all. The next class will be in the fall of next school year. Thank you!

The book fair is coming to Community Elementary School and we need volunteers to check out the students on April 15, 16 & 17th in the morning and afternoon. All volunteers will need to fill out a background check form to volunteer, if you haven't already done so. Dear Edgerton Community Members: Yesterday voters approved the School District's Operational Referendum Question on the Ballot by over 59%! We appreciate the time the community took to learn about our District's needs. The passing of this referendum will allow us to maintain programs, better compensate our staff and solve building maintenance and IT needs. Nutrition Collaborative of Rock County. The collaborative is holding a focus group and community event where they plan to get thoughts about nutrition from residents of the community. The goal is to translate the information they receive from participants to actionable steps to improve nutrition in the community.
