Dear Edgerton Community Members: Yesterday voters approved the School District's Operational Referendum Question on the Ballot by over 59%! We appreciate the time the community took to learn about our District's needs. The passing of this referendum will allow us to maintain programs, better compensate our staff and solve building maintenance and IT needs. Following an extensive study of our needs, the Edgerton School District's Board of Education has placed an Operational Referendum Question on the BACK of the ballot. To confirm your voting location please visit myvote.wi.gov. You can register to vote on Election day, April 2nd, with a proof of residency document such as a Utility Bill or Pay Stub. WEDNESDAY, 3/13: Connect with nature today! THURSDAY, 3/14: Conduct a recycling checkup at your house today. FRIDAY, 3/15: Take a shorter shower. SATURDAY, 3/16: Decide to live paper towel-free! SUNDAY, 3/17: Air dry at least one load of laundry! As you complete the challenge think about & share: What was your favorite activity? Which ones will you keep doing? Which was hardest? What are some other eco-friendly activities that you’d like to try? Share your activities/photos with everyone to encourage others!

We will have students board buses at 3:45. Please anticipate delayed (approximately 45 minutes) drop-off times. Yahara Valley Elementary route will be delayed by 45 minutes. Any students still in our buildings, not riding the bus, will be dismissed at 3:45. Parents can come to campus for pick-up.

We are currently under a tornado warning. All students that were on the bus are taking shelter in the middle school. All other students that were not dismissed are taking shelter in our school buildings. Please do not come to the school campus until after the tornado warning is cleared. We anticipate this to be around 3:45.

Nutrition Collaborative of Rock County. The collaborative is holding a focus group and community event where they plan to get thoughts about nutrition from residents of the community. The goal is to translate the information they receive from participants to actionable steps to improve nutrition in the community.
