HS Art Students participate in Memory Project

Students Holding Artwork The Memory Project is a nonprofit organization that invites art students and teachers to create portraits for kids around the world who have faced substantial challenges such as neglect, abuse, loss of parents, war and extreme poverty.  The students drew pictures of the portraits sent to use that will now be sent back to the child as a gift.  This helps the children feel valued, and connect globally.
"I'm so proud of the students who took part in the Memory Project!  It was so awesome to see the students seek ways to do more for these children and to use their skills and talents to better someone's life!"- Mrs. McCabe
Our students drew pictures of children from the Ukraine who are either in a foster care situation or have been directly affected by war. For more images of the portraits check out our EHS Art facebook page. Also check out memoryproject.org
