Chicago Brass Quintet Christmas
Saturday, December 18, 2021
The Edgerton Performing Arts Center will celebrate its 20th Anniversary with a Holiday concert featuring the Chicago Brass Quintet. The Quintet performed here in January of 2004 to kick-off the Wartmann Artist Series. This concert is dedicated to the loving memory of our friend and Board Member, Nancy Dickinson.
As Chicago's original brass quintet, these five virtuosi possess the technical and musical mastery needed to perform music of all periods and styles with equal aplomb. The Quintet brings style, grace, dazzling technique and humor to every performance. The Quintet has been performing for more than 40 years. Currently they tour internationally throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and South America. They have recorded for the Delos, Centaur, Crystal, GIA and Covenant labels, and have broadcast often on WFMT, National Public Radio and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
The evening’s concert will celebrate the Holiday season with everyone’s festive favorites including Joy to the World, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Jingle Bells and Sleigh Ride, just to name a few.
Ticket prices: Individual ticket prices $20, Series tickets $120 which includes one ticket to each of the following concerts "I am...He Said", Chicago Brass Quintet Christmas, The Polish Wieniawski Philharmonic Orchestra, Tusk and The Guy Mendilow Ensemble.
