Welcome to the Yahara Valley Elementary School! 

It is with great pride that I welcome you to our wonderful school! With about 100 students in grades K-5 our school provides a welcoming space for all students to grow and learn the foundational skills to succeed in whichever path they choose beyond high school. 

Growing up in a small community Northeast Wisconsin, I have always valued the welcoming environment that a small community school provides for learners. I have worked as part of a school with a similar size and community feel as a 5th and 6th Grade Teacher, then as a Technology Integration Specialist, a STEM Teacher, and most recently as an Associate Principal. During this time, I was fortunate enough to have an international experience teaching 5th grade in Stuttgart, Germany.  I’m excited to bring my professional experience to a district that puts the needs of students first. 

Personally, I have a wonderful wife named Hailey and together we have twins (Jack and Millie) who keep us both very busy. Jack and Millie love spending time with our dog, Oscar.  I also enjoy riding bikes and staying active outdoors - if you spot me zooming around Edgerton please say hello. 

As the Yahara Valley Principal, I’m committed to working collaboratively with everyone to ensure that all students have the best possible learning experience while at our school.
