School Board Election

  • Two forms must be submitted to run for the school board, the Declaration of Candidacy and the Campaign Finance Registration Statement. These forms must be filed with Edgerton School District Clerk April Tobin in the Superintendent’s Office by 5:00 PM on January 4, 2022 in order for a name to appear on the ballot (once filed, names cannot be withdrawn).

    The Declaration of Candidacy is straightforward, however the Campaign Finance Registration Statement is more complex. Please read the instructions on how to complete this form carefully, per the Wisconsin Ethics Commission school districts are not required to accept paperwork that is not correctly and completely filled out.  All forms may be accessed at and  Copies of all forms are available to candidates at no charge upon request.

    The school district clerk will be on winter break from Thursday, December 23, 2021 through Friday, December 31, 2021. If you would like to submit election papers during this break, please contact April Tobin at (608) 931-2029 to make arrangements.
