Welcome to Mr. Gould's class!

  • Welcome to my class web page!  I hope that you find this to be a useful tool throughout the school year.  My goal is to update the site each week to give parents and students an idea of the activities and lessons we will be covering.  An easy way to stay in touch is to add this page to your favorites or sign-up on the notification list.

This will be my 23rd year of teaching at the elementary level.  I taught fourth grade for nine years in Janesville and for six years in Cambridge before coming to Edgerton.  My wife will be teaching math at Edgerton High School again this year, and my daughters will be in 12th and 9th grade.  I am very excited to get this year started - I hope you are, too!

Please keep the following information handy in case you need to get in touch with me.

    Mr. Gould's Classroom Rules

    Try Our Best Everyday

    Be Kind

    NO Bullying/Rumors

Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible

    Consequences:

         **Verbal Warning

**Take a Break - come back to class when ready

**Take a Break - come back to class when invited

**Go to Buddy Room - come back after a conference, contact parent

**Go to Office - phone call home, conference in office

LATE WORK will not be tolerated.  If an assignment is late (forgot, didn't want to do, left at home, left at school, cat ate it, whatever), student will fill out a pink late slip with name of assignment, due date, and why late.  This slip must then be signed by a parent and returned with the completed assignment.  A late paper will result in an Honor Pass punch.  Everyone forgets an assignment at some point.  Just don't make it a habit.
