Experience: I am entering my 33rd year of teaching and have coached 29 of those years. I coached Middle School Basketball in Arizona and was an Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach as well. I started coaching in Edgerton in 1996 and have coached basketball ever since. I was the Junior Varsity basketball Coach and Junior Varsity Baseball Coach for 6 years before taking the Head Varsity Girls Basketball position and the Assistant Varsity Softball position. I was also the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach from 2033-2017. I recently moved from softball to boys golf in the spring of 2018 and enjoyed two season going to the state tournament. I will be starting my first season as girls golf coach this fall.
Many people do not know that I grew up in Portland, Oregon and attended Arizona State University. I taught in Mesa Arizona for nine years, Janesville for 10 years, and will be entering my 14th year in Edgerton. All Elementary Physical Education.
My family consists of: My Wife Monica teaches 2nd grade at Community Elementary School and I have 3 children. Meggie who is a Sheriff Deputy, Nate who is a Computer Engineer and Kellan who is still working on her degree in education.
My passions are: I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and golfing. I also really enjoy coaching!
Experience: This is my 17th year teaching life sciences in Edgerton. I have coached basketball for 9 years. My wifes name is Rena and we have raised four children all graduating from EHS (Amanda, Allison, Jared and Abby). I love to go fishing and my favorite sports to watch are NCAA football and the NHL playoffs.
