Student Council

    Edgerton High School Student Council is a student government organization to develop attitudes of, good citizenship; promote good relations among students, faculty and the community; improve school morale; assist in the management of the school; provide a forum of student expression; provide orderly direction of school activities and promote general welfare of the school.

    Edgerton High School Student Council is an open campus organization.

    Requirements:  Students must attend weekly meetings (only two unexcused absences), 2.0 GPA in previous semester, completion of 20 hours of school service and 10 hours of community service.

    Student Council Activities

    Tider Tailgate: Annual tailgate party at the first home conference football game
    Homecoming: Parade, Pep Assemblies, Spirit Week, Voting for court, Decorating for football game, locker signs, gym signs, football half-time show, ordering flowers, alumni buttons, judges for events, etc...
    Annual Craft Fair: Big fund raiser for the Student Council
    Blood Drive: Red Cross Blood Drive held for students and staff members
    Dances: Host occasional dances at high school
    Class Officers and Executive Board Members Officers for classes and Student Council Board
    American Cancer Society Relay for Life Walk Organize a team to participate in walk and earn money for cancer
    Meetings Weekly meetings
    Special Events Support and host drives.
